Ungodly Misfortune

Ungodly Misfortune

‘Tis the night and the beast from here dwells
Within the midst of the gray lightened fog
Though the blackened bark infects his plea
The saint and the sinner bring nothing to me.

The caves and kind of utmost he stares
Into the darkness of light from which yearning
Gives into feat uplifting the face of might
And the spirit from which he is so trite.

The beast with all his evil clamor
Rears his ugly head into the darkness
And seeks those who dispel
The anger from within their own hell.

This demon of the night travels free
Of spirit, body and un-managed mind
Spawning his death upon the crimson shores
Beguiling those with his chores.

As the sky casts darkened gray and lights
Fade into the abyss of his night
Bring forth your dead and retrieve
The outcast of souls you will believe.

Ungodly misfortune has spun upon the day
When creatures unbeknownst settle rituals
For when the beast is near, he is powerful
Unwinding his death from the spool.

The night becomes dismal and still
The beast in all his power proclaims
That this day should be a day of death
To all who should perish a souls breath.
