Truth
Silence the masses
Beats confusion and pain
Harmonious gases
Dictator's agonizing stain.
Take away their books, so the can't read
Take away the movies, so they can't feed
Take away our music, No I don't think so
Take away our thoughts to support their dough.
Putting a gag order
On our very lives
Their drunken stupor slurs
Nothing will sacrifice.
Power hungry, must rule with an iron fist
Dividing a nation to sides, government ass kiss
Souls left to wither and die, not this time
Censoring our voice and stealing the rhyme.
(pre-chorus)
Unite, stand up and fight
We can take them if we try
Unite, destroy their "insight"
Show them we won't die.
(chorus)
Ask me the truth
I'll tell you no lies
Ask me the truth
We can't let music die.
Purgatory in their grips
Settling for contentment
With political lying lips
Censored hints.
Take away our lives, so we can't learn and breathe
Take away our soul, succumb to their illogical need
Take away our voice, so we shall never again speak
Take away our strength, so we infiltrate the weak.
A world in slavery
To leaders who don't understand
Is that the way it's to be?
Our best defense unmanned.
(pre-chorus)
(chorus)

Rights
Rights
Copyright:1/13/96
The political bandwagon rides on
We go out without a sound
Adhere to the censored lunacy
Forget about rights to privacy.
Freedom is a four-letter word
The lowest man on the totem pole
We lose our lives in censored bliss
Politicians layer it on and seal it with an evil kiss.
Like cattle we obediently follow
At the slightest unfavorable remark
Our lives stand corrected and censored
With all these rules to be ignored.
Where does the insanity stop?
Books, movies or music
Control exists in political minds
Censorship puts us in civil blinds.
