The Looking Glass

Inevitable predictions of space and time
A dream of the nightmare to follow
Realizing the serge of pain in my mind
Knowing one less exists on my planet sorrow.

Dreaming around the witching hour, half past
Floating thru darkness on a road once there
Reaching below me something just within my grasp
Above all control is lost no pain to bare.

(pre-chorus)

Waking- Bad dreams haunt my brain
Reality- Premonitions remain
Knowing- Death has taken his victim
Finding- Out- the future is grim.

(chorus)

Observe verity unfold in front of my eyes
Unable to stop this madness
Aware while watching my loved ones die
The all seeing eye in the looking glass.

A woman lies on her death bed weak from disease
Her man by her side while she sleeps
He whispers softly, "Don't leave me, please."
She gives up the ghost while he weeps.

Envision riding man and predicting his fate
Discovering later of his brutal homicide
Tried to warn him, but now it's too late
Now he rides clouds on his Harley in the sky.

(repeat pre-chorus)

(repeat chorus)

(bridge)

The power of knowing in advance what's to be
Has been bestowed upon only me
No way to stop it knowing they are going to die
Words I know quite well, here they lie
Growing feelings of darkness on the rise
Clairvoyant predictions of their demise
Dreaming death emotional scars run deep
The salt shifts through while I sleep.

(chorus #2)

The all seeing eye in the looking glass
That's what I am and always will be
The all seeing eye in the looking glass
Look into the future death is all I see.

No need for a crystal ball when you're the all seeing eye in the looking glass.
