Thus begins the War of the Worlds, the Earth's final stand
No nuclear asylum or barriers, diabolical ruler in command
Armageddon is undeniably here, World War Three has begun
Radiation has taken life by force, the battle is not won.

Death toll in the billions, vast wasteland left behind
No vegetation to speak of, nothing left of mankind
Abandoned shelters in the desert, silos ripped to shreds
What's left behind of the globe, one total obliteration, all dead.

Radiant greenery once stood, now blinded by explosion
No one thinks twice about peace, total nuclear erosion
Earth and all life completely destroyed, no purple magic majesty
Absolute annihilation, how could existence end in such travesty?
