A city cold and degrading
Dirty and trashed beyond belief
People live in fear
Winter rapes through violence
Robbery, drugs and gangs
Rule the motor city
Rumors and chaos clings.
Pollution and designated bi-laws
Smog and unbelievable madness
People ingest this craziness
As cars speed down the road
Crime seems to somewhat pay
Ruling the consciousness
Criminals beg and maul.
Snow drifts from far above
Covering the city in a white blanket
Briefly snow floats from the north
Roads iced and slicked
Crews working quickly to fix
Accidents prevalent throughout
Not a city of love.
