If you absolutely can
Get one on your arm
Break the hourglass of sand.

Paint your left leg
If you really dare
Feel the jittering needle
Tattoo something rare.

Go under the needle
Whenever you want
Big or small
Pain's a ghost haunt.

Tat your back or chest
Simulate a monster
Or get a goofy teddy bear
Coming from the dumpster.

If you can take the pain
If you're prepared for black rain
If you need a little swaying
Or a tattoo without paying.

You can find a place easy
Not too dark too sleazy
They will do what you please
And bring you to your knees.
