The Blood I Crave
Into the night I fly above the trees
And grace unsightly beginnings
He watches from his perch, afar
And dreams me into substance
For he, like I are one in the same
And his heart pumps so strong
I forgive my life of sin for he.
He is the wind and the stars
And I meld into his everlasting arms
He waits for me on the other side
And bares all mental consequences
As I lead him away and look deep inside
And his love shines through the grave
Filtering the open painful scars.
Of life and love we share together
And our blood runs deeper than streams
He learns from me as I from him
And in part our reality sets the sun
As he takes my hand in his
And caresses my inner strength
With his alibi of love and forbidden care.
The blood I crave becomes from only him
And the moon and universe wrap around
As we delve into emotional needing
And pleasing him begins foremost
I know he allows me the blood I crave
And he leaves me the blood I crave
He will protect me from my inner sins.
